Guest App : Upload images or video to the Keepsake Album

OurStoryz users have several options for uploading images and video from their events:

Guest app - guests at an event using the guest app can upload images and video

In the OurStoryz CMS - OurStoryz Admins can upload images and video, and apply uploaded media to their Organization, Storyz, Events, Invites, and Keepsake Album

Visitors to the ourstoryz.com website can validate their presence at an event, and upload images and video.

Uploading from the Guest App

Guest app users can upload from the Keepsake Album associated with their event. To upload from the events, just navigate to the Keepsake Album, and select the upload button at the bottom-right of the screen.

Uploading in the CMS

In the CMS, all images that can be changed have an 'ellipsis' control at the upper right. Selecting the ellipis opens a menu with options for replacing, editing, and adjust image information.

What each option does

• Open - opens the image full-sized in a separate window
• Edit - change meta-data like captions, location the media comes from.
• Replace - find a new media file in your local account, or link to a remote volume on Google Drive or iCloud
• Copy link - provides a public link to the image you can share on social media
• Email - send a copy of the media to a specified email address. Note that large videos may not be emails
• Download - download a copy of the media to your local device
• Delete - remove the image. A default "placeholder" image will be substituted.

Guest uploads visible in the CMS

When guests upload from the Guest App, the images and video go to the event's "Keepsake Album" - multimedia record of the event.

Admins with a CMS login can check uploads, and remove any that pose problems (offensive, incomplete).

Uploading from the Website

Each event in OurStoryz has a "Keepsake Album" associated with the event website. The event planners may make it possible to upload media from the web, without using the Guest App
