Professional
It's easy to sign up for Professional service!
Use it if you:
- Create events for others
- Are a professional event-planner
- Have clients who are using OurStoryz. You can co-manage their accounts
- Have multiple employees in a company that manages events
If you don't need that power, consider Locator or DIY service levels.
Signing up
- Go to the signup page on ourstoryz.com
- Select "I am a Professional Event planner or organizer
- Continue through signup.

During signup, you will be asked to:
- Describe your professional services
- Invite other members on your team into your Professional account
Explore your Professional account
Your Professional account allows...
- Multiple Storyz, each with its own set of events. This organization is suitable if you are creating events for multiple clients, and want to group them under a different 'Storyz'
- Multiple Team members. Professional allows the Account Owner to invite an unlimited number of team members to work within the account, each with their own login
Creating your first event in OurStoryz is easy! Just follow these steps:
- Log in.
- You will be taken to your Organization page
- Under "Storyz in this account" you will see 1 or more Storyz
- Select one and navigate to that Storyz.

The service menu to your right allows you to access your Storyz and events immediately, no matter where you have navigated in OurStoryz.

Your Storyz and events
Depending on how you created the Professional Account, you may already have events tied to one or more Storyz. The following screen shows several events tied to one Storyz. Each event "sees" the Storyz as a parent "super-story". This is ideal for complex events with many sub-events.
- Weddings with a rehearsal, ceremony, dinner, reception, party
- Business expos with multiple seminars and meetings
- Clubs with several events scheduled during the year
You don't have to create more than 1 event! For one-off parties, clubbing or other events, a single event may be enough.
In the Storyz dashboard below, note the 'honored guests' section:
- They are guests who have been given special roles
- Honors can be related to an event (Music DJ, caterer)
- Honors can also be kinship ("mother of the bride")
- You can control which honored guests appear in your website and your guest app

If you need to see other events outside the Storyz, you can use two methods:
Select "Storyz" from the left menu. You will see all the Storyz associated with your account.
Return back to the Organization page via a breadcrumb:

Your events
You can edit the events in your Storyz, in one of two ways:
Method 1: Select your default Storyz from the "Your Storyz" panel. You can use this to set information about the event. You can also select "events in this Storyz" to edit your event.
Here is a Storyz with multiple events. You can add more anytime from the Storyz dashboard by selecting the "Add" + button:

Select an event to go to its dashboard. You can also select the "..." ellipsis to see additional options
Each Event dashboard contains a set of panels that you can open, close, edit, or drag around to suit your work.
- Guest List & RSVPs
- Invites
- Gift Registry
To edit event basics, select the event panel, specifically the edit icon.
- You can change the default image associated with your event by selecting the ellipsis icon at top-right of the image.
- Select the drag icon at left to drag the panel to a different position.
- Select "more" or "less" on the right to open and close panels.
- To edit your guest app styles, select "Guest app".
- To edit your mini-website, select "Website".
