The Storyz of OurStoryz
OurStoryz was by Nirmal Baid in 2022, who saw a need for a system which could manage weddings and other events, while providing geofenced events. Working with designers and developers, his company, Baid Media, developed the site during 2023 and 2024, and launched in 2025.
How does OurStoryz makes money?
Our revenue comes from the following sources:
- Professional and DIY subscriptions - our higher-end accounts have a monthly or yearly subscription
- Gift Registry commissions - if a event-planner sets up a gift registry, we receive a few percent of the cost as a commissions
- Vendor charges - vendors who are listed as OurStoryz vendors have a subscription allowing the work with our users
- Optional Addons - some features of the OurStoryz are addons, and provide additional support, or customize the event system for specific industries. These may be subscriptions, or fixed-price.
Partnerships
