QuickStart : Logins, Settings & Navigation : Translate

OurStoryz has a built-in translation system that functions across the event management platform and the website. 

  1. If you are viewing the ourstoryz.com website, you can set the language
  2. As an Admin with a login for event management, you can set your default language
  3. As an Admin, you can translate text received from your guests separately

Translating ourstoryz.com

On the website, select the translation dropdown at the top-right of the web page:

You will see a dialog with the current set of translations available. 

Choose your language, and the entire site will be translated!



Translating text received from guests

If your are an Admin managing a guest list, you can translate messages you receive from your guests. Look for the "translate" icon on a text field, similar to what is shown below:

The "translate" icon, when selected will bring up a dialog allowing you to create a translated copy of the text. This does not change the text in the input field.




Translating text in the event management platform

If you are an Admin, you can also set the language you view the event management system with by selecting the language dropdown on the top-right of each page:

This will dynamically translate the text of the app, and leave guest input unchanged.
